# G.E.A.R.S

In our best effort to make a self-sustainable economy, we faced different issues on the brainstorming sessions, and we came to the conclusion that we need to avoid making the same mistakes we have seen in the current nft and play to earn games. Our initial approach to balance the in-game economy was to use an oracle to attach the game rewards and severals aspects of the game to a fiat currency like **USD**, however something never clicked properly as in the various scenarios and long term economy projections we ran, the oracle wasn’t just enough for an economy to be properly sustainable as it is almost impossible to make have a token with no corrections at all.

The current oracle system used by most games is not perfect but has a major setback as it is good to balance the game rewards when a token price rises, but when it suffers a major correction it completely destroys the economy, unless the withdrawal limitations are lifted. But that would be worse in the long-term. Without forgetting that having an inflationary token in NFT’s games is not suitable for a long lasting healthy economy, the price will always drop if you don’t keep a steady amount of players/investors joining everyday. After endless discussions and long brainstorming sessions we came out with our own unique system of what could be called the oracle 3.0 and we called it **G.E.A.R.S.**

**G.E.A.R.S** is our *very own and unique semi-automatic algorithm* allowing human intervention when necessary.
